ABOUT JEREMIE

After seeing a Nike commercial featuring another Per4Max athlete, Matt Scott, Jeremie was inspired to play wheelchair basketball. Jeremie “Phenom” Thomas found and made his way onto a local team, the Miami Heat Wheels. With hard work, Jeremie helped bring his team to the NWBA 2015 Eastern All-Star team and ultimately brought them to victory at the NWBA 2015 National Championship. Recently, he has been featured in The Rebound, an award-winning documentary about the spirit of wheelchair basketball. Today, Jeremy continues to play as an athlete for the Miami Heat Wheels in addition to pursuing his musical talents as a recording artist and producer.

“Growing up I was raised to be very independent. I’d get up, I’d fall, dust myself off and keep it moving. Wheelchair basketball and Wheelchair basketball wheelchairs changed my life – I fell in love with the game and with sports chairs”
