Thanks to his uncle and former men’s national team wheelchair basketball player, Gérald Brule, David Eng learned how to play wheelchair basketball at a fairly young age. By 28 he had earned a full-time roster spot with Team Canada. From there, he went on to capture numerous medals and individual accolades while representing Canada, including medaling at the 2004 (gold), 2008 (silver) and 2012 (gold) Paralympic Games and the 2006 World Championships (gold). David credits his passion and competitive spirit to his father, a fifth-degree black belt who at his was named “The Next Bruce Lee” by Karate Magazine in 1976. 2018 NWBA champion with the N.Y. Knicks.
