Aaron Gouge

ABOUT AARON

Aaron Gouge started playing wheelchair basketball in the 6th grade and continued to play throughout high school and college at the University of Texas at Arlington. While working towards a degree in Kinesiology, he was named the MVP of the collegiate division, made Team USA for the 2007 ParaPanAM Games and the Mayor of Arlington officially declared November 2 as “Aaron Gouge Day”. Aaron played professionally in France for two seasons and came back to the USA to focus on his Paralympic dreams.

Aaron brought home a silver medal in 2014, gold in 2015, and another Gold from the Rio 2016 Paralympics. Today, he can be found playing for the 14-Time National Champions, the Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks, and Team USA.

“I feel like every time I get a P4X chair; they just keeping better and better. Whether its lighter than my last one, or stronger, or just fits me better, it allows me to perform even better than I have in the past. A big reason for that is because I am able to closely work and brainstorm with Willie and the staff at P4X . This allows the team at P4X to create a chair that is the perfect fit for me.”
